The skin is the most important external organ of the body that protects the internal organs. The skin condition may be an indication of many problems with internal organs, and some of the signs that our skin sends, we often neglect. Find out who these six skin changes are that most of us don’t associate it with health problems, which we should pay attention.
1. Wrinkles around the eyes
Although they show that we laugh a lot, wrinkles around the eyes can reveal whether you need to check your vision because they can arise from many straining. Maybe your vision has weakened, but perhaps you wrinkle because the sun is bothering you, that means that you need to wear glasses to prevent impairment to your vision and eyes.
2. Darker skin on the neck and armpits
If the skin around the neck and underarms in certain parts became darker, that may refer to diabetes or thyroid problems. Disruption in skin pigmentation is often manifested in the folds of the skin and is common among people with an increased risk of diabetes type 2.
3. Very pale skin
If your skin has become noticeably pale, it may be an indication of chronic anemia, one of the biggest causes of pallor. Anemia, a condition in which the body does not produce enough blood cells, can be caused by insufficient intake of iron, folic acid and vitamin B12, but may be genetically caused.
Specks could mean that the DNA of the skin is too damaged by ultraviolet rays. Some people are genetically more prone to freckles, but that can also happen because of the sun exposure and can be darkened if they are further exposed to UV rays.
5. Dry skin
Dry skin may indicate dehydration or that enter enough water in the body or that you enter too much alcohol and caffeine. It may come to a contradictory situation – increased origination of pimples because the skin is trying to produce more fat to complement the lack of water.
6. Acne around the mouth and chin
The appearance of acne on this part of the face may be an indicator of poly-cystic ovarian disorders of the endocrine system which can cause infertility. If acne around the mouth and chin are constantly emerging, and besides that you have irregular periods, see a doctor.
