Ann Cameron, the popular child book author, was diagnosed with third stage colon cancer in 2013. Luckily, she was able to beat the disease with only one natural ingredient and decided to share her experience with the world.
This wasn’t her first encounter with cancer, her husband had died in 2005 from lung cancer, even after months of chemotherapy.

After four months everything was back to regular and the tumor was still withdrawing, and after eight months, a CT scan showed that the cancer was gone.
Unlike other things, carrot juice can be taken during conventional cancer treatments. It is perfectly compatible with chemo and radiation, although Ann avoided the treatments as she didn’t want to go what her husband went through. She says that if you’re in good health when diagnosed with cancer, full recovery is possible. There’s no harm in postponing the usual treatments and trying a natural alternative to stop the spread and hopefully cure the disease.
What makes carrots so powerful anti-cancer medicine?
The anticancer effects of carrots have been proven scientifically. Namely, carrots contain antioxidant Falcarinol, which is responsible for its anticancer activity.
In one study that was conducted in Denmark and UK among rats and mice with colon cancer, discovered that carrot consumption can reduce the occurrence of cancer in 1/3 of the experimental animals.
There was another research, where patients with breast cancer drank carrot juice and their carotenoids levels in the blood increased, that acts as a preventive against cancer.
