Research has shown that one of the biggest culprits for obesity and weight gain, in general, is sugar. We are talking the kind of sugar that you take in when you drink soda, when you eat sugary snacks when you eat too many desserts. In fact, some doctors advise that just cutting sugar from your diet could help you shed pounds.
So stop the soda habit, don’t take shortcuts with sugary snacks and go easy on the desserts.
The next culprit to sugar is carbohydrates. Carbs were once the main ingredient in fad diets. Then recent research showed that they are in fact the enemy. So which is it? The idea is to understand your carbs which are the good ones and which are the bad ones? Here is the short answer to that if it is processed, it isn’t good for you.
That is why a sandwich that’s made on white bread is bad and that made on whole grain bread is good. White rice is bad for you while brown rice is good. Generally, good carbs are delivered through plant foods, and they usually deliver not just a carbohydrate but a fiber into the system as well.
What a normal meal should like
Generally, it should have a portion of a healthy protein such as lean beef, fish or chicken that is not deep fried deep fried food delivers a good dose of cholesterol along with the protein. In addition, to that, you should have at least one kind of vegetable it doesn’t matter what you choose so long as it delivers fiber.
Add a healthy carbohydrate like whole grain bread or brown rice and you are you have a meal that is complete.
For snacks, try eating different kinds of nuts or fruits. Nuts are a great protein delivery system while fruit provides additional carbs and fiber.

It doesn’t matter how well you are eating, you have to incorporate some exercise into your life if you want to stay fit. Exercise stimulates blood circulation, makes your heart pump harder, therefore, become stronger and it also helps you to look toned and beautiful. It also does wonders for your skin.
You mostly need to work on arm, legs and abs. One of the best arm exercises for women is to lift weights you don’t need the heavy stuff dumbbells a few pounds heavy will do wonders.
Leg exercises for women are not hard to do either if you can get in a few reps of squats 3 or 4 times a week, you will keep your legs and thighs in good shape. If you are not sure how to do squats, there are plenty of YouTube videos that demonstrate squats.
Lastly, one of the best abs exercise is to use a stability ball while holding a 5 to 10-pound medicine ball and then to tilt your spine over the ball. You not only get nicely toned abs, you get t6o strengthen your spine.
